Wallket ("the app") is made by Umutcan Keçe. This page explains what data is kept where and who it is shared with. In short: your budget data never comes to us. It stays on your phone, and, if you turn on Pro sync, in a spreadsheet in your own Google account.
1. Data that stays on your phone
Accounts, cards, expenses and income, categories, savings, debts, imported statement lines, settings and your pet are stored only in the database on your device. We have no access to them. If you create a backup file, you decide where it goes.
2. Receipt scanning
Receipt photos are read on the phone with the device's own text recognition (Apple Vision on iOS). Photos and the recognized text are never sent to a server. Camera and photo access are asked for this only.
3. Wallket account (optional)
You don't need an account. If you create one, sign-in and account management are handled by Clerk, which keeps your email address; the name and email of your Google or Apple account if you sign in with one; and the status of your Wallket Pro plan. Your budget data is not uploaded to the account. You can delete the account for good in the app: Settings → your account → Delete account.
4. Google Sheets sync (Wallket Pro, optional)
If you turn on sync, the app signs in with your Google account and creates a spreadsheet in your Google Drive, or joins one shared with you. Your budget data is written from your phone directly to Google (Sheets API); there is no Wallket server in between and we keep no copy. You decide who can open the sheet through Google's sharing settings.
The app asks only for the spreadsheets scope and uses it only to read and write Wallket spreadsheets. Wallket's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Google data is not used for ads, not sold and not read by people.
5. Purchases
Wallket Pro is paid through Apple (App Store); your card details never reach us. RevenueCat verifies purchases and records the plan on your account; it receives only an anonymous user id and the purchase record.
6. Wallket Connect
Wallket Connect, which sends statements from a computer to the phone, encrypts files end to end with a key derived from the pairing code. The relay in between (Cloudflare) can't read them and forgets everything when the session closes, or after 15 minutes at most.
7. Prices and notifications
Currency, gold and crypto prices come from a public rates service (currency-api, via jsDelivr/Cloudflare); no personal data is sent with these requests. Notifications (payment reminders, low balance, pet) are created on the phone; no push server is used.
8. Analytics and crash reports
The app has no analytics or crash reporting today. If that changes, this section will be updated; amounts, names and notes will never be sent, and it can be turned off in Settings.
9. Children
Wallket is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect their data.
10. Your rights and contact
To access, correct or delete your data, write to destek@wallket.com.
11. Changes
If this policy changes we'll update the date above and announce important changes in the app.
